Silvered-metal, large, rectangular tray.  The centre ornated with a young seated lady next to a herd of cows.  The perimeter with a vegetable and crossed ribbon decor bearing the inscription MINISTERE DE L'AGRICULTURE / CONCOURS REGIONAUX et MOULINS 1896 / ESPECE BOVINE PRIX D'ENSEMBLE (Agricultural Minister / Regional Contest Moulins 1896 / Bovine Species Overall Prize). 

The handles ornated with cows’ heads.  Resting on four legs terminating with lion’s claws. 

Pattern by Oscar ROTY, signed; realized by CHRISTOFLE & Cie.  Length: 37 cm (14-1/2 in.);
