Oak and turned fruit-wood spinning wheel with ornamentation with rings, buttons, balusters, and flowers in sculpted bone.

Model with "differential" and "vertical transmission". Pedal mechanism. Throat of the wheel lined with pewter.

Complete with its spindle, its tin gourd, and its distaff.

Very small accidents, a few bone elements missing and replaced.

The differential spinning wheel is one in which the movement of the large wheel runs two smaller wheels, whose difference in speed allows for twisting and winding at the same time.
The vertical wheel is one where the large wheel is placed above the spindle and the spool.
