PARIS. Porcelain cup and saucer with polychrome decor of wooded landscape with young man against a donkey, his dog rearing onto his thighs on cup and two rectangular reserves with landscapes on the saucer. These scenes are surrounded by a large gilded fillet and detaches from a green ground enhanced with a fruit coupe supported by a cornucopia and palmettes. Gilded fillets along the borders, gilded ground on cup's interior. Scrolling handle of gilded ground with white porcelain sparrowhawk. 19th Century. Height: 12 cm (4-3/4 in.) - Diameter of saucer: 16.5 cm (6-1/2 in.). Wear along the gilding.
