Infantry Rifle Gun Chassepot Model 1866 S1868 MI with central percussion 11 mm Calibre.

Round, canted barrels with lug with lift, register and hallmarks. Breech casted« Manufacture Impériale Tulle M^le 1866 ». Iron, stamped accessories and rod. Varnished walnut stock with fine seal and hallmarks. Set from same register.

With bayonet Chassepot, guard stamped on weight. Blade M^re N^le de Chatel^lt Juin 1871. Sheath made of bronzed sheet-iron, with same number.
