Octogonal rifled barrel, the breech section stamped with the mark of J- Inspecteur Jacqueson - R4 sous Bonnet (Inspector of the 4th division after An III).
The lock engraved « Mre IMPLE DE VERSAILLES » (1807-1814) stamped DX (controller of Dorchaseaux lock), brass breech.
Stamped brass mounts, iron ramrod-pipe. Stock bone plate projection, varnished walnut with seal (re-propped).
