Small in-4°, brown, semi-Morrocan on the corners, marbeled board, gilted head-pieces, cover conserved (binding of the era).

A title in frontispiece, four titles and nineteen colored etchings by André LAMBERT.

Printing of 500, this particular one (°36), one of the 23 on the Japanese Imperial contains a supplementary suite of illustrations and an original watercolor, which is on p. 196-197 "Céphale et Procris"(Cephalus and Procris)

The engraved plate on p. 140-141 "Ovide et Cythérée" (Ovid and Cythere)
